Job Title:  Landscaper / Builder (full-time)

Reports To:  Project Manager / Office Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION


Position Purpose


  • Deliver high-quality workmanship on all hard landscaping sites as directed by the senior landscaper or operations manager


Main Tasks


  • Promoting the company's professional image on-site and working in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy

  • Monitor daily construction procedures to ensure that proper quality is maintained

  • The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company


Other Duties


(Landscaping and Tim’s Garden Premises)

Fulfill other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.


  • Maintain all tools and vehicles

  • Interpret plans and discuss design concepts

  • Build positive customer relations through entire job

  • Use Tradify to update time, materials, and progress of job

  • Relay invoices, schedule, and issues with Project Manager and Office Administrator

  • Quantify and collect materials from building merchants

  • Building furniture for shop/clients

PERSON SPECIFICATION



Qualification


  • Relevant Trade Qualifications

  • Building / Landscaping Diploma

  • Horticulture Diploma (desirable)


Experience


  • 4+ years experience in a similar role

  • Experience on a wide variety of projects

  • Be able to use a wide range of hand and power tools (including drop saws, concrete cutters etc)

  • Building of timber structures (decks, retaining walls, pergola, fences, planters etc)
