Shop Assistant
Job Title: Shop Assistant (Part-time - 3 days, including some weekends)
Reports to: Shop Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position purpose
To support the smooth running of the shop on a day-to-day basis and provide ongoing support to all sides of the business. Assisting the business with client enquiries at front of house and all shop tasks.
Main tasks - Shop
Stocktake and maintain store cupboard
Keeping shop presentable at all times
Monitoring and updating website and online sales
Nursery upkeep
Provide expert knowledge of indoor and outdoor plants
Promoting and preparing for evening workshops
Rostered timetable and will need to be available to work Saturday's

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications
Certificate in Horticulture (essential)
Experience
Experience in a similar role (required)
Worked in horticulture/landscaping (essential)
Knowledge
Marketing, administration, system management programs, website editing.
Basic horticulture knowledge.
